Adhesives are generally used in the construction of slate floors. The manufacturer recommends using special slate installation equipment and tools. The matching adhesive products can solve the problems of hollow slate and unstable installation.

Slate laying process: base layer treatment → elastic line division → adhesive preparation → adhesive construction → large rock slab back coating → large rock slab laying → vibrating and leveling → leveling aid to adjust the flatness → surface cleaning and protection → caulking treatment


| Base surface treatment
Remove the floating ash from the base layer, so as not to affect the adhesion of the tile adhesive

| Preparation of tile adhesive
Mix the tile glue and water in a ratio of 4:1, stir with a gray spoon until it is evenly moistened, and there is no obvious lump or mushy agglomeration. The stirred slurry is allowed to stand for 5-10 minutes and then stirred for 1-2 minutes. be usable.

| Apply tile glue
Spread a layer of tile glue evenly on the ground to form a semi-dry layer, and then use tile glue to fill in the unevenness of the surface again, with a thickness of about 0.5CM; The tile adhesive is required to be fully applied.

| Moving and paving
Use a three-hole glass suction tool to lift the large plate horizontally to move the construction position and place it on the paved tile adhesive base. At least two workers are required to carry it, and a mobile rack needs to be used for larger areas.

| Pave and Compress
Lay the slate flat on the base, and take the slate solid with a rubber hammer. While knocking the brick surface with a rubber hammer, measure with a ruler to ensure that the tiles are level.

| Leveling
Around the edge of the positioned rock slab, insert the leveler base every 60cm or so. After checking the leveling, insert the leveling wedge and clamp the leveler, adjust the surface flatness of the adjacent rock slab, and adjust the rock slab gap to about 2mm. For subsequent beauty treatment.

| Empty drum inspection
One hour after paving, tap the brick surface with a small hammer to check whether there is a hollowing phenomenon, and 24 hours after the paving construction is completed, caulking can be carried out.

| Board cleaning
24 hours after the completion of the paving construction, clean the leveler and carry out caulking construction. The caulking should be filled with flexible or elastic materials. After the caulk is cured, clean the excess curing agent with cleaning Maoqing to keep the board surface clean.
