processing

First of all, let's talk about the processing of slate, from the designer to design the drawings and processing schedule of the required slate shape according to the customer's needs, and then to the machining center to cut the slate according to the drawings and other operations, so as to obtain the slate. Finished plate.

02
transportation

After obtaining qualified and qualified finished products, it is time to transport the slate products. Professional unloading and transportation services are an important guarantee for the safe delivery of products to users. Handling rock slabs usually requires professional handling tools such as handling wheels, handling bars, handling suction cups and so on. Wooden boxes and A-frames are most commonly used for transporting slates. Wooden boxes are suitable for placing whole boxes of slates, while A-frames are suitable for placing single slates or a small amount of slates. It will be double-protected with pearl cotton, and finally tied with a rolling tape and covered with a cover.

Placing the slate in a wooden box or A-frame can protect the slate to the greatest extent and avoid breakage. When the slate is loaded and transported, the transport personnel will use air bags to fill the gaps, and bandages will be used to reinforce the transported products. It can be said that the protection measures are quite sufficient. When transporting from the wooden frame to the installation site, it is generally transported with a lifter. During the handling process, the installers will be extra careful to ensure that they do not touch when turning, entering or exiting, or the elevator, so as to ensure that the product can finally reach the construction site safely.

03
Install

Regarding the installation of rock slabs, it is divided into ground paving, wall paving, dry hanging of rock slabs, etc. Whether it is ground paving or wall paving, the construction personnel must comprehensively check the verticality, flatness, The squareness of the yin and yang angles, the hollowness of the plastering layer, whether there are cracks, sewage, open water, etc., should be cleaned and treated.

To ensure professional construction, many professional tools are used:

Paving process

Next is the paving and installation of the slate, which can be roughly divided into 11 processes, as shown below:

1. Basic leveling and processing
Use a horizontal infrared instrument to check the flatness and verticality of the base layer, plaster and level it, polish it to a certain degree of roughness, and ensure that the flatness of the base layer can meet the installation requirements of the slate (test with a 2-meter ruler, the wall allows deviation 2mm, the allowable deviation of ground flatness is 3mm)

2. Elastic wire positioning, plate cutting
Set out the line on the base according to the slate grid plan on the design drawings to ensure that the design size matches the actual size of the site. According to the size of the elastic wire, use a manual guide rail cutting knife to cut, and use an electric cutting machine to open the hole.

3. Adhesive preparation
It is prepared on site by mixing with water according to the proportion. After stirring the uniformly stirred adhesive with a batching knife, the adhesive will naturally fall from the batching knife in about 5 seconds. At this time, the viscosity of the adhesive is the most suitable. (The working time of the adhesive is 2 hours at normal temperature)

4. Adhesive construction
Use the straight edge of the toothed spatula to apply the adhesive to the front adhesive surface, use the toothed spatula to comb the adhesive in the vertical direction to form full and uninterrupted zigzag stripes, and comb again in the horizontal direction.

5. Slate back coating
Use a toothed spatula to flatten and apply a layer of adhesive on the sticking surface of the rock slab with a thickness of about 6-8mm to ensure the stickiness of the rock slab and the adhesive.

6. Check whether it is full of slurry (use a toothed knife to scrape the groove on the back of the rock slab)
Scrape the groove with a toothed knife on the back of the slate to check whether it is full of slurry. It is necessary to ensure the fullness of the adhesive to avoid the phenomenon of hollowing.

7. The slate is fixed on the wall
Use the vacuum suction cup lifter to attach the cut and scraped rock slab to the wall, and pre-embed the leveler (one at an interval of 40-60cm) at the edge of the sheet. Use an infrared locator to check the verticality, and use an electric motor The rubber hammer/vibrator used to squeeze the rock slab to ensure a uniform thickness of the adhesive.

8. Vibration and leveling
Use a plastic-rubber hammer, a vibrator or a plastic plate to flatten the rock slab, tap the surface of the rock slab lightly to empty the air between the rock slab and the wall, so that the space between the rock slab and the base surface is filled with slurry, ensuring that Adhesion to avoid hollowing. The adjustable paving time is 30 minutes. The operation method of vibrating and paving is from bottom to top, from the inside to the outside, so as to avoid the local hollowing caused by the sliding of the adhesive.

9. Slate leveling (place the leveler and locator)
According to the position of the pre-embedded leveler when laying the slate, place the cross locator, use the push clamp to fix the insert, and ensure that the adjacent slate remains on the same level. After laying, remove the excess adhesive overflowing from the edge to keep the slate Clean and beautiful surface.

10. Surface cleaning and protection
Use a scraper and a rag to clean up the residual and spilled adhesive in time, at the same time do a good job of cleaning the surface of the slate and the joints of the bricks, and use corner protectors to protect the edges and sharp corners of the slate and other places that are easily bumped.

11. Filling treatment
After the surface and gaps of the slate are cleaned, check whether there is dust, accumulated water, etc. in the gaps. After confirming the cleaning, use the same color of the slate to fill the gaps, and use a small spherical hammer to wipe off the excess. , After 4 hours, use a spatula to shovel away the excess beauty joint agent, and finally use a cleaning sponge to do the final cleaning of the surface of the slate to complete the slate paving process.
